Jason LaBonte has over 25 years of experience in leading innovative high-growth healthcare information companies. Jason is currently the CEO of Veritas Data Research, Inc., which is building healthcare vital status monitoring solutions. Previously, Jason was the Chief Product Officer at Universal Patient Key, which became Datavant in 2018. Jason served as Datavant’s Chief Strategy Officer as it grew into a multi-billion dollar corporation.
Jason has held leadership roles across a variety of healthcare data and information companies, including Clarivate, Medpanel, and TGaS Advisors. In these positions, and as an analyst prior to that, Jason has extensive experience in evaluating and using real-world data and market research for product design and insight generation, primarily serving the life sciences industry.
Jason has a Ph.D. in virology from Harvard, and an A.B. in molecular biology from Princeton. He holds multiple patents related to healthcare data privacy-preservation, aggregation, and utilization in novel workflows.
