Angela Gallagher, PharmD, MBA, is an experienced managed care pharmacist with a PharmD from Northeastern University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She serves as Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacy at Mass General Brigham Health Plan, a provider‑owned payer, where she leads formulary and utilization management, operational efficiency initiatives, value‑based care strategies, PBM contract oversight, and pharmacy trend management.
Before joining Mass General Brigham Health Plan, Angela worked in consulting, helping build and optimize pharmacy services within subacute care facilities and community health centers. She is also engaged in pharmacy education, precepting Northeastern University co‑op students and serving on the Office of Experiential Education Advisory Committee to support ongoing program improvement.
Angela remains active in the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and contributes to multiple committees across the health plan and the broader Mass General Brigham system.
