Candace Zheng lead biopharma engagements across scientific and commercial consulting including US market access/HEOR strategy, pre-approval planning, value messaging, digital engagement, and market research. Her experience spans rare disease, cell and gene therapy, immunology, cardiology, and neuropsychiatry. Before joining Cencora, she led clinical pharmacy operations at a payer organization, managing total cost of care initiatives, expanding value-based provider efforts, and building clinical programs to improve quality and outcomes. She began her managed care career at a pediatric ACO, supporting large-scale Medicaid population health initiatives. She’s passionate about helping patients access the therapies they need by translating complex evidence into clear, payer-ready strategies.
Dr. Zheng earned her PharmD from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, completed a PGY1 Managed Care Pharmacy residency at The Ohio State University Health Plan, is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, and holds an MS in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy/Applied Pharmacoeconomics from the University of Florida.
