Dr. Sheila Thomas is Vice President & General Manager, Life Sciences Research at CVS Healthspire™ Life Sciences Solutions, with 25 years of leadership experience in healthcare and the life sciences. She brings deep expertise in real-world evidence and HEOR, data analytics, clinical trials, market access, value-based care, and digital health, developing tailored solutions for payers, life sciences companies, and healthcare organizations.
Previously, Dr. Thomas served as Head of Payer, Value & Outcomes at Jazz Pharmaceuticals and held senior leadership roles at Sanofi, Optimer, Takeda, Amgen, and Lilly, leading RWE/HEOR, patient-centered outcomes, and market access initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, cardiology, endocrinology, and rare diseases.
Dr. Thomas earned her BS in Pharmacy and PharmD from The Ohio State University, where she is an adjunct Assistant Professor. She has extensive experience across community, managed care, PBM, and health system pharmacy and served 21 years on Ohio health advisory bodies.
